If you are a backpacker it is best to have all your documents in order. Please make sure to have proof of accommodation for your TDAC.

Hello, I am traveling in January from Frankfurt via a stopover in Abu Dhabi to Bangkok. Which departure airport and which flight number do I enter?

Thanks

You should indicate the UAE in your TDAC registration, as you will be travelling directly from there to Thailand.

You must be connected to WiFi, and be in Thailand. All you need to do is scan the QR code.

I am traveling from Norway to Thailand to Laos to Thailand. One or two TDAC's?
0
AnonymousAnonymousNovember 13th, 2025 2:48 AM
Correct, you will need a TDAC for ALL entries into Thailand.

This can be done in a single submission by using the AGENTS system, and adding yourself as two travelers with two different arrival dates.

https://agents.co.th/tdac-apply
0
AnonymousAnonymousNovember 11th, 2025 6:55 PM
I indicated that the card was a group card but during submission it went to preview and it turned out that I already had to obtain the card. It ended up as an individual card because I didn't add the travelers. Will this be acceptable or do I need to redo it?
0
AnonymousAnonymousNovember 11th, 2025 11:34 PM
You need a TDAC QR code for EACH traveler. It doesn't matter whether it is in one document or in several, but each traveler must have a TDAC QR code.

My surname in my passport contains 'ü'. How can I enter it? The name should be entered as it appears in the passport. Can you please help me with that?
0
AnonymousAnonymousNovember 7th, 2025 7:23 PM
You simply write "u" instead of "ü" for your TDAC, as it only allows letters from A to Z.

I am now in Thailand and I have my TDAC. I changed my return flight; does my TDAC remain valid?
0
AnonymousAnonymousNovember 7th, 2025 7:22 PM
If you have already entered Thailand and your return flight has been changed, you do NOT need to submit a new TDAC form. This form is only required for entry into the territory and does not need to be updated once you have entered.

I’m going to Thailand but while filling out the form:

Is a return ticket mandatory, or can I buy it after I arrive? My stay might be extended, so I don’t want to buy it too early.
1
AnonymousAnonymousNovember 6th, 2025 11:01 AM
A return ticket is also required for TDAC, just like for visa applications. If you are entering Thailand on a tourist visa or under visa exemption, you must show a return or onward flight ticket. This is part of the immigration regulations and this information must also be included in the TDAC form.

However, if you have a long-term visa, a return ticket is not mandatory.

Do i have to update the TDAC when i am in Thailand and move to other city and hotel? Is it possible to update the TDAC when i am in Thailand?
0
AnonymousAnonymousNovember 6th, 2025 10:59 AM
You do not need to update the TDAC when you are in Thailand.

It is only used for entry clearance, and not possible to change after the arrival date.

Hello, I will fly from Europe to Thailand and back at the end of my 3 week holiday. Two days after arriving in Bangkok I fly from Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur and be back in Bangkok in a week. Which dates do I need to fill in on the TDAC before I leave Europe; the end of my 3 week holiday (and fill in a separate TDAC when I go to Kuala Lumpur and arrive back after a week)? Or Do I fill in a TDAC for staying in Thailand for two days and fill in a new TDAC when I arrive back in Bangkok for the rest of my holiday, until I fly back to Europe? I hope I am clear
0
AnonymousAnonymousNovember 4th, 2025 9:47 PM
You can complete both of your TDAC applications in advance through our system here. Just select “two travelers” and enter each person’s arrival date separately.

Both applications can be submitted together, and once they fall within three days of your arrival dates, you’ll receive your TDAC confirmation by email for each entry.

Hello, I am departing for Thailand on 5 November 2025 but I made a mistake in the name placement on the TDAC. The barcode has been sent to my email but I cannot edit the name 🙏 What should I do to ensure the data on the TDAC matches the passport? Thank you
0
AnonymousAnonymousNovember 3rd, 2025 7:20 PM
The name must be in the correct order (an incorrect order may be acceptable, because some countries list the given name first and some list the family name first). However, if your name is misspelled, you need to submit a correction or resubmit.

You can make changes using the AGENTS system here if you have used it before:

No, you will have to submit the TDAC online; they do not have kiosks like the airports do.

I only have a one-way ticket (from Italy to Thailand) and I do not know the return date. How can I complete the TDAC in the field “departure from Thailand”?
0
AnonymousAnonymousOctober 31st, 2025 7:19 PM
The return section is optional only if you are traveling with a long‑term visa.

If you enter visa‑exempt (without a visa), you must have a return flight, otherwise you risk being refused entry.

This is not only a TDAC requirement, but a general entry rule for visa‑exempt travelers.

Also remember to have 20,000 THB in cash upon your arrival.

If I have a one-day stopover in Dubai, do I need to declare it on the TDAC?

I entered the given name Günter (as it is in the German passport) as Guenter, because the letter ü cannot be captured. Is that wrong and must I now enter the given name Günter as Gunter? Do I now have to apply for a new TDAC because the given name cannot be changed?
0

You should write Gunter instead of Günter, because the TDAC only allows A-Z.

Do not travel to Thailand on a one-way ticket unless you hold a long-term visa.

This is not a TDAC rule, but an exemption rule related to the visa requirement.

For the TDAC, if you do not have a family name/last name, you still have to fill in the last name field. Just put a hyphen “-” in that field.

AnonymousAnonymousOctober 20th, 2025 4:14 PM
A round-trip flight is required to enter Thailand under the visa exemption program and VOA. You can omit this flight from your TDAC, but you will still be denied entry because you do not meet the entry requirements.

Hello

I will go to Thailand in December.

Can I apply for the TDAC now?

On which link is the application valid?

When will the approval come?

Is there a possibility that it might not be approved?
0
AnonymousAnonymousOctober 15th, 2025 6:53 AM
You can submit your TDAC application immediately using the link below:

https://agents.co.th/tdac-apply

If you apply within 72 hours before your arrival, approval is received within 1–2 minutes. If you apply earlier than 72 hours before your arrival, your approved TDAC will be emailed to you 3 days before your arrival date.

As all TDACs are approved, it is not possible that you will not receive approval.
